The Arts Center Partners
In addition to Saratoga Arts' own arts education offerings, The Arts Center is home to:
Etudes Music School
Our Community Arts Education Program
For nearly 15 years, Saratoga Arts has been dedicated to offering quality fine art and fine craft classes, taught by regional artists, to students of all ages and at all artistic levels. In that time we’ve grown our program to its current capacity, where it now serves over 950 students a year and works with nearly 50 art teachers.
Located in the Arts Center at 320 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, Saratoga Arts has several fine arts classrooms, a weaving studio, a 110-seat theater, two gallery spaces and a darkroom. We have on occasion, when our facilities can not accommodate a class, offered classes off-site as well.
The Saratoga Springs Walmart proudly supports the 2017-2018 Saratoga Arts' Education Program.
Thank you to The John Winter Family Fund for sponsoring scholarships to the Saratoga Arts' Education Program. The legacy of John R. Winter, Jr. comes from his understanding that all young people have vast potential but that many youths need opportunities to encourage and foster the development of their God-given talent. Though his generosity in creating the John Winter Family Fund, he established a source that can be used to allow more participation in programs such as the Saratoga Arts childrens camps.
School Break Camps
Saratoga Arts is proud to offer camps for kids ages 5 - 14 during school breaks!
Spend school break creatively! Join Saratoga Arts for April Break Camp Creativity, our full-day camp for children ages 8-14. WIth projects geared specifically towards campers' age and skill level, they'll have the opportunity to spend their week creating multiple projects with multiple mediums. A typical day for campers includes 4 art-making sessions taught by our NYS or BOCES registered teachers, a break for lunch, and two snack breaks. Our Camp Creativity campers focus on the basics, but are also introduced to advanced art concepts. Each camp ends with an exhibition of works highlighting lessons and projects - and friends and family of campers are invited to attend! Camp size is limited to 15 students.
Monday - Friday: 9am - 4pm
April 17 - 21, 2017

Imagination Rules is our half-day camp for children ages 5-7. A typical day for our Imagination Rules campers includes two sessions dedicated to learning about art and art-making and a break at 10:15am for snack. With our younger campers, we focus on the basics of art, color, line, texture, etc., and study the work of famous artists like Picasso, Matisse and Grandma Moses. Campers will complete between 4-6 projects weekly, depending on how many days they are registered. Parents can also choose a 3-day option (usually Monday, Wednesday & Friday) for any of our Imagination Rules camps. Please call 518-584-4132 if interested in registering your child for a partial week.
The Arts Center Children’s Theatre program is designed to introduce children to the basics of theater and theater performance. Campers participating in our Theater Camp will learn and experience the collaborative nature of theater, deciding as a class what play to perform each week. They will explore the many art forms required to bring their play to life, including the basics of character development, stage directions and set, sound and costume design. Campers will play theater, acting & improv games in a fun and supportive environment as they work toward the performance of their play for friends and family on the last day of each session.
