Where: Saratoga Arts, 320 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.

    About Nacre Dance Group:

“Revolutionary”, created by Word Dance Theatre, shares the story of Isadora Duncan, articulated through prose and her most famous dances.

Nacre Dance Group educates audiences through Duncan’s ground-breaking discovery in movement, which led to the age of modern dance in America. Duncan’s story has been given fresh life through this brilliant dance/theater piece performed by area actress/dancer, Diane Lachtrupp who portrays Isadora Duncan, supported by local dancers and students of Saratoga City Ballet.

Nacre is a professional dance organization focusing on pushing the boundaries of dance while remaining steeped in the rich tradition of the craft.

First Thursdays are made possible with a generous legacy grant from Radial Arts.

Saratoga Arts is pleased to announce a virtual artist talk event on Wednesday, October 13th from 7:00pm-8:00pm (EST).

This event will be hosted on Zoom and will feature four artists currently exhibiting their artwork at Saratoga Arts October 7th through November 13th.

The artists Lauren Breedlove, Greg Cuda, Adrian Lee and Arnela Mahmutovic will talk about their background, inspiration and the artwork featured in their exhibition.  A slideshow presentation of artwork will accompany the discussion, followed by a live Q&A session. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain personal insight into the artistic practice.

Visit saratogaarts.org to register for this free event and please consider making the suggested $10, or $25 donation to help support this programming. It is through generous donations that Saratoga Arts is able to continue its mission of making the arts accessible to all.
