Centrally-located at 320 Broadway, the Main Gallery and the Dee Sarno Theater are available for hourly or day-use rentals. Whether you're looking to host a wedding, birthday, rehearsal, networking event, or public performance, the artistic backdrops of the gallery or theater will make any gathering special and memorable.

In addition to our gallery and theater space, we offer classroom and studio rentals on the first floor of our building, to run a class or use as practice space.



The Dee Sarno Theater

The theater is a black box space that can be transformer into many uses. All renters are required to set-up and break down their own seating and staging. If use of projector or sound equipment is needed, a meeting with our tech personnel is required in advance. Additional charges may apply. Rental rates start at $75/hour with discounts given to Saratoga Arts & Business members in good standing; as well as Non-profit organizations discounts.

*Rental of the Dee Sarno Theater includes non-exclusive use of  the Reception Area Gallery for registration, box office or other use.



The Gallery at Saratoga Arts

Make an impression by hosting your event in the Gallery at Saratoga Arts. Rental rates starting at $75/hour with discounts given to Saratoga Arts & Business members in good standing; as well as Non-profit organization discounts. 

*Rental of the Gallery includes use of the Reception Area Gallery (when not in use), but does not include use of the Dee Sarno Theater.

*Rental of the space does not give the Renter the right to move or regulate the art on display at the time of rental.

*Gallery rentals are not allowed during business hours. Exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.




Saratoga Arts First Floor Classrooms

Bring a group of people together to learn painting, Photoshop, Improv, poetry or any other creative endeavor that you have experience in sharing.

Rental rates start at $50/hour and we currently have 3 different classrooms to choose from.

Saratoga Arts First Floor Studios

In the search to create amazing things, space is always a necessity and we currently offer 3 separate studios to bring the band together to practice, collaborate with colleagues or have a quiet space to create.

Rental rates start at $25/hour and grants may be available to help. Inquire at grants@saratoga-arts.org.

OPEN REHEARSAL AND TEACHING SPACE


Saratoga Arts Open Rehearsal program provides free, subsidized rehearsal space for performing artists of all genres, from individual performers, to established brands practicing for an upcoming gig. All you have to do to access this space is fill our the form below. After it is reviewed by a member of our staff available reservation times will be provided with open spaces ready for you to book.

This program is funded through December 31, 2023. Open Rehearsal is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. For other rental inquiries please email rentals@saratoga-arts.org.

 Available Studio Spaces

Dee Sarno Theater (limited availability) - Max occupancy 111, good for larger groups and performance artists.

Studio A - Approximately 13.5' x 11.5' - good for small groups of 1-5 people

Studio C - Approximately 16.5' x 17.5' - good for medium-sized groups of 3-10 people



Saratoga Arts Music and voice Lab provides teaching space for performing artists of all genres, whether they are associated with a long established arts organization, flying solo or gathering likeminded creatives for the first time. 

Teaching rentals are not covered by the Open Rehearsal Program. For teaching rental inquiries please email rentals@saratoga-arts.org.

Rehearsal/Teaching Space Guidelines:

  1. Organizations and Individuals must fill out a rehearsal space request form before reserving space. 

  2. Organizations must present insurance in order to utilize our rehearsal space. Individual Artists/teachers must sign an insurance waiverwhen signing in.

  3. No food or beverages (other than water) are permitted in rehearsal spaces.

  4. The reserving party is responsible for set up and breakdown. Failure to reset the room to "neutral" may result in cancellation of future rehearsals. 

  5. No alcohol or drugs are allowed at any time.

  6. No smoking or vaping is allowed indoors. No smoking is allowed within 20 feet of any entrances to the center.

  7. Sound equipment and projectors owned by Saratoga Arts are not made available to those utilizing the open rehearsal program.

  8. The maximum length of a rehearsal session is 3 hours.

  9. No more than 9 hours can be reserved at one time by the same party.

  10. No individual entity can book more than a total of 100 hours per calendar year using the Open Rehearsal Program.

  11. All possessions, including trash, should be removed at the end of your session.

  12. Staff shall have access to rehearsal spaces during sessions.

  13. Reserving parties agree to comply with current Saratoga Arts COVID-19 Policies.

  14. All reservations must be paid when they are made. Any reservation cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will receive no refunds.

  15. Saratoga Arts reserves the right to cancel a reservation at any time due to building issues or emergencies.

  16. Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in cancelation of reserved rehearsal sessions and prohibition from making further reservations.
