Artist Statement

When you open your eyes to the interplay of light, texture, and color; and the juxtaposition and balance of shapes and masses, you develop a fresh perspective of the world around you.

Contemplating reflections on water, observing the way light falls across a surface, marveling at the color of a mountain against the sky, or witnessing a sunrise over the ocean—these mindful observations open the world to your senses.

Through the use of creative software tools, you can transcend mere documentation and enable a more expressive representation of the world.

Often, the details of a place talk much about the essence of the place. Noticing the details is often important to understanding a place.
