A Halloween bash for the benefit of regional filmmaking, and screening of locally produced short films - curated by Skidmore student Ryan Thompson.

$50 VIP cocktail hour at 6:00 pm includes beer, wine, champagne, and hors d'oeuvres

$20 screen-only films at 7:30 pm, if you are coming to the screening only, please arrive at 7:15 pm

The 518 Film Network, Skidmore College, and Saratoga Arts all come together to bring you a night of creative collusion. 'Til Death is the brainchild of Ryan Thompson who, as a final project for a media class, was given over twenty-five short films made by members of the 518 Film Network to mock-curate anything they wanted. The proposed block, originally titled "Phases of Belonging", was unanimously supported by 518FN and adapted to the upcoming spooky season.

The event will be two-fold: with a VIP cocktail hour reception at 6:00pm, followed by the screening at 7:30pm (a Q&A with the filmmakers and Ryan will follow). Guests can buy VIP tickets to the entire event which includes beer, wine, champagne, and hors d'oeuvres for $50, or just pay $20 for the screening portion of the night and access to a cash bar. If you're buying tickets for just the screening, please arrive at 7:15pm as the screening will begin promptly at 7:30pm. All proceeds will split between Saratoga Arts and 518 Film Network, nonprofits dedicated to supporting local art.

Dressing up is encouraged (this is Halloween after all!) with the thematic prompt being:

    "Elegant Decay"
