with Becca Flis                                                                                                                                                          Students in this workshop will develop a basic understanding of the different methods of working with oven-baked clay. They will be able to jump right into the sculpting experience whether interested in building a small container, making sculptural beads, sculpting from life using tools, or creating an abstract sculpture.

Students should come to the workshop with a feasible idea of what to make within the allotted time. They should also bring any specific materials or tools that they would like to use to create their piece (ex. leaves, bark). Get creative! Please note that only white Sculpey is used for this workshop; the sculptures can be painted after baking.
