In this one day workshop, students will learn how to make sharp, expressively-lit photographs of plants, flowers, and small artifacts for fine art or documentation. The instructor will cover how to control the quality of light from an affordable compact strobe with a soft box, reflectors, and other light control accessories. Hands-on demonstrations will include photography of a small floral subject against black and an item against white, with image enhancement using Affinity Photo and Photoshop CS6. This course is open to all skill levels. Students should bring with them a high end digital single lens reflex or mirrorless camera and know its basic operations.
