ensuring that the arts are accessible to all.

with Robin Rosenthal

Learn how to work with complementary colors to create eye-catching oil paintings. Students will learn how to compose a painting, learn paint mixing using the color wheel and how to simplify your brushwork to give your work a sculptural, painterly quality. We'll also cover basic materials, the concepts of value, intensity and temperature. Demos, painting exercises and one-on-one attention will be provided. Students will be able to create a colorful still life and become a more confident painter in their chosen subject matter, all while having fun. Class size is limited to 10. This workshop is open to all skill levels. A complete supply list can be found online.
