One of the many ways we make the arts accessible is by giving artists as many opportunities as possible to show and sell their work. We have exhibition and sale opportunities for members and for not-yet members, for veteran artists and for artists who are putting their work out in the world for the first time.
2021 Call For Artists
Saratoga Arts is currently seeking artists to apply to our 2021 Call for Artists. Artists who apply for this featured exhibition opportunity will be considered to be included in solo or small group shows in The Arts Center Gallery at Saratoga Arts during our 2021 exhibitions season!

Artists who reside in Saratoga County and the eight surrounding counties Hamilton, Warren, Washington, Rensselaer, Albany, Schenectady, Montgomery and Fulton are eligible to apply.

The Arts Center Gallery presents between 6-7 exhibitions annually, ranging from juried small group or solo exhibitions to our more inclusive community shows. As a part of our mission to make the arts accessible to all, admission to all of Saratoga Arts’ galleries is free and open to the public. Our gallery hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm and Saturdays from 11am – 5pm. We are also open on Sundays from 11am – 5pm in July and August.
Applications are accepted each year from early February through the end of May. We invite artists working in any medium and individuals interested in submitting curatorial proposals to apply for consideration by our exhibitions review panel. Artists will be considered for solo, two-person or small group exhibitions in our 2,000 square foot gallery space. Strong preference is given to artworks within a cohesive series or concept.
Artist Participation | Step-by-Step
- Artists interested in having their artworks included in a solo, two-person or small group show in The Arts Center Gallery (excluding the Members’ Show or Summer Show) must apply via our annual submission process.
- All submissions are reviewed by an exhibition review panel, consisting of an independent group of artists, arts administrators and gallery professionals.
- Artists and curators who submit applications for consideration will be notified of the committee’s decision by the end of summer 2020.
