Virtual Public Engagement Session
Wednesday December 9 at 3pm
The New York State Council on the Arts’ State & Local Partnerships program is glad to announce a second opportunity for artists and arts organizations to attend the Virtual Public Engagement webinar led by Chris Walters, Grants Manager & Gallery Curator for the Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes. The initial session was held in September to overflowing capacity and we have scheduled another opportunity to learn about producing and presenting virtual programming.
This 75-minute session is open to all interested artists and arts organizations and focuses on a “how-to” overview for engaging with audiences virtually through online programming and live-streaming. The session covers the following topic areas:
- Overview of virtual and streaming platforms
- Online event set up and ticketing programs for virtual events/programs/meetings
- Best practices for surveying and tracking audiences
- Equipment and tech upgrades
