Colorful images

My paintings derive from experiences I have had and places I have seen. I rarely if ever use photos only because I enjoy the freedom of putting my thoughts on a canvas without having to consult with an intermediary but not because I don’t value the importance of good photo images. I sometimes enjoy the freedom of plain air painting but I paint almost exclusively in a studio type setting. I like colors and I think my paintings reveal that. All in all I enjoy the painting process and I especially enjoy the world of painters and artists who make life so much more rich and interesting.
