Free Seminars

We strongly encourage applicants, returning and new, to attend our grant seminars OR schedule a one-on-one grant info session with the Grants Coordinator, as there have been several changes made to guidelines and submission process for the 2021 grant cycle.

Saratoga Arts offers free informational seminars to assist applicants in understanding the grant process. Seminars focus on specifics of the grant application, including writing the narrative, successfully completing the budget form, how to submit the application and support materials on Submittable, the online grants management system new for this year.  The seminars also explore successful project examples, and review panel tips. All informational grant seminars for the 2021 grant cycle will run as webinars through Zoom video conferencing. Please check this site regularly for schedule updates.

To schedule a one-on-one grant info session, please contact Grants Coordinator Diane Swanson at, 518-240-4240 (temporary phone number).

New for the 2021 Grant Cycle: Saratoga Arts will be implementing a new online submission format, using Submittable, a cloud-based grants management system. Grant Seminars will provide instruction on how to submit your grant application through this new format.

Helping Out with the Details:
Two Technical Assistance Seminars have been scheduled on specific topics such as how to apply via Submittable, tips on filling out the budget form, using social media to promote your project and other grant application tips. These are designed for one-on-one or group assistance.

Due to public safety concerns, the following seminars are scheduled to be run as webinars via Zoom. If interested applicants cannot attend any of these scheduled sessions, please schedule a one-on-one info session with the Grants Coordinator (conducted either by phone or zoom meeting).
