Woodcut Relief Printmaking

Class Location: CREATE Community Studios, 70B Beekman St, Saratoga Springs, NY

Woodcut is the oldest form of relief printmaking. In this one day workshop, students will learn the basics of woodcut printmaking, including transferring an image to a block, various approaches to carving, and producing a series of prints.

All materials and tools will be provided for the class.

Beginner printmakers are welcome! This class can be repeatedly taken, allowing you to have a new found understanding of the process each time!
