Intermediate Oil Painting: Portraits
taught by Kelly Smith
You will learn to draw with a brush and study head construction, proportion and facial features using the Asaro Head 3D model and Loomis and Bridgeman methods. As we feel more confident practicing those methods, we will move towards color theory and warms and cools using your reference photo to produce depth and fullness of form. Our goal will be to work towards a completed portrait of you, a loved one, or family member using the tools we have developed.
