Landscapes and Cityscapes
During her years in grammar school Emma found herself fascinated by the few art history lessons presented by nuns in Catholic School. (St. Clement’s, Saratoga Springs). In high school painting became one of her passions and she found solace in oil painting. She has studied art in high school, (Saratoga Springs, HS), college, (classes at Northeastern University, Central CT State University), and at the Farmington Valley Arts Center, Avon CT. She has spent considerable time traveling throughout Europe, Asia and the United States and continues to do so. These days she especially enjoys creating landscapes and cityscapes. Her works have been featured at Mystic CT Arts Center, Lost Acres Vineyard, Granby CT, Simsbury CT library West Wing Gallery, University of Connecticut John Dempsey Hospital and Noank Historical Society, Noank CT, among other sites.

A selection of pieces from Emma’s exhibit are also on display for in-person viewing at Saratoga Springs Community Federal Credit Union at 23 Division St. The credit union is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-6pm.
