Artist Statement

“Adirondack Brilliance”

Oil Paintings in Nature

As an artist, my goal is to capture nature with all its emotions and beauty. I am drawn to the glowing colors in the skies, patterns and textures of waterways and the details of rocks that show the many moods in nature. Each painting has vibrant colors that show different times of day and weather conditions, bringing great interest to every piece. I want the painting to speak to the viewer with hopes that they may feel what I felt and appreciate the skies, mountains, lakes and rivers that make the Adirondacks so brilliant. This collection of work, is a tribute to the Adirondack’s everlasting beauty and all its grace. I am inspired everyday I walk out my door, I always find something beautiful in everything I see. Painting these beautiful moments is my voice that I can share with you. The color, light and shapes are the words from my heart.

Enjoy, “Adirondack Brilliance.”
