“Beauty of Lake George”
As an artist, my goal is to capture the wilderness with all its emotions and beauty. I am drawn to the glowing colors in the skies and the many moods it reflects. The water patterns from different times of day and weather conditions bring great interest to every piece. This Lake George show is a tribute to the Adirondacks' Queen of the Lakes' everlasting beauty. The lake and its surroundings has a never ending grace that is timeless and a treasure. Utilizing vibrant colors, I want the painting to speak to the viewer with hopes that they may feel what I felt and appreciate the wonderful Lake George in all its glory. I am inspired everyday I walk out my door, I always find something beautiful in everything I see. Painting these beautiful moments is my voice that I can share with you. The color, light and shapes are the words from my heart. Enjoy “Beauty of Lake George.”
Murphy's exhibition is up for public viewing November 30-December 27 at Saratoga Springs Visitor Center, 297 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.
