Jean Clark

Jean has spent most of her life working in art. For many years she was senior designer for Glassmasters, a Manhattan stained glass studio that created original pieces and reproductions of Tiffany and LaFarge windows for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston gift shops.

Influenced by the thriving New York art scene of the 1980's, Jean started working on a less commercial level. By the end of the decade she moved to Upstate NY where she continues to work and exhibit her prints.

Jean studied drawing and painting at the Art Students League and textile design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY. She has attended printmaking workshops at Skidmore College and with Sunghee Park at the Arts Center in Troy, NY.
