Janene Bouck, Art in Public Places
Saratoga Springs Train Station
September 28 - November 29, 2021
Have you ever experienced how some places become embedded with solitary memory? These spaces don't need to connect to an event; they may be a location drenched in feelings or a view from a road you often travel alone or even just a space you visit to breathe deeply. The collection of works in Silent Spaces are all taken at personally meaningful places. Despite their location, they all feel removed from hustle and noise; to me, they resonate with an intimate and quiet frequency.
I have worked as a graphic artist, architectural designer, draftsperson, bartender, janitor, and salesperson. I currently provide on-site commercial photography and digital photo restoration from my home studio, Silent Jane Salvage, in Broadalbin, New York. My biggest passions are nature and creating in any form. This gathering of images spans the six years that I have been sharing my photography.
Bouck's exhibition is up for public viewing September 28 - November 29 at Saratoga Springs Train Station, 26 Station Ln, Saratoga Springs, NY.
Saratoga Arts' programs are made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
