EDUCATION POLICIES

(Updated January 2023)

HEALTH & WELLNESS

Saratoga Arts follows CDC and OCFS guidelines for educational facilities.  While masks are now optional at educational facilities, we encourage all guests and students to take precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible, such as staying home if you are not feeling well.

Saratoga Arts will continue to closely monitor CDC and OCFS guidelines and will change the mask mandate if need be.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Payment for the class/camp is due at time of registration. Please reach out to Saratoga Arts directly should you require a payment plan or alternative arrangements due to financial need.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must occur in writing or via email to education@saratoga-arts.org.  Our cancellation schedule is as follows:

30 or more calendar days before the start of class or a camp, cancellation will result in a full refund minus a $15 cancellation fee.  This fee will be waived if the refund is issued on the account of the registrant for future use at Saratoga Arts.

Cancellations that occur between 14 and 29 calendar days before the start of a class or camp will result in a 50% refund minus a $15 cancellation fee.  This fee will be waived if the 50% refund is issued on the account of the registrant for the future use with Saratoga Arts.

No refunds or credits will be given to any cancellations received 13 days or less prior to the start of any class or camp.

CANCELLED OR POSTPONED CLASSES

Saratoga Arts may cancel or postpone classes for any reason including, but not limited to inclement weather.  Whenever possible Saratoga Arts will provide reasonable notification; email or other expedient methods will be used to contact registrants.

Saratoga Arts will generally cancel, delay or reschedule educational programing based on Saratoga Springs City School District (https://www.saratogaschools.org/).  Saratoga Arts will post about closures and delays on social media (currently Facebook and Instagram [@saratogaarts]) and our website (saratoga-arts.org)

Saratoga Arts will make best efforts to reschedule or postpone classes rather than cancel.   Typically, make-up classes will be added onto the end of a given session.  If make-up classes cannot occur at the end of a given session or in the case of one-session classes, Saratoga Arts will reschedule the session at a later date whenever possible.

In the case where a make-up session cannot be rescheduled a credit will be added to the registrant's account.  Saratoga Arts will not issue refunds for classes that have been rescheduled with notice to all registrants.
