Artist Statement:

Fascinated with light, John Muse designs his projects to resonate with the natural light around them and to be filled with that light’s beauty. A working architect, his projects around Saratoga showcase this love of light with beautifully lit facades and interiors washed with the sun. As painting gave way to architecture in his twenties, the light seen and emulated in those paintings would remain as a constant point of practice in his creative endeavors. This show, the first John has had in almost forty years due to focusing on his career, showcases this decades long observation of light.

The other 69 works are by his offspring, Bukket, a surrealist.
