Every year Saratoga Arts puts out an open call to all artists across the capital region. This is open to both members of Saratoga Arts as well as non-members and gives all artists the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional setting. Entries were collected by Saratoga Arts, and juries of arts professionals from the area were put together to review all submissions and create 5 exhibitions for the year, showcasing the work of four artists each.
Saratoga Arts is pleased to announce our Third Juried Exhibition of the year, featuring the work of Brenton Smith, Carol Caruso, Carter Hodgkin, and Sarah Haze. This exhibition displays the work of four artists, working at a cross-section of digital and traditional techniques while exploring process, input/output, and the individual vs. the collective. A captivating exhibition, it's sure to incite inspiration and reflection amongst viewers.
Across the work of
these artists, we see that they are often working at a cross-section of digital
and traditional techniques, exploring process, input and output, and the
individual versus the collective in such a way as to inspire deep contemplation
of the relationship between the artificial, the scientific, and the natural.
