School Break Camps in Theater and Visual Arts
When regional schools are on break, Saratoga Arts offers full-week programs in both theater and visual arts for children ages 5-14. Our visual arts campers will learn about famous art and artists while creating their own masterpieces inspired by them; our theater campers will learn all of the basics of theater, including character development and set design and will conclude their program with a performance in our Dee Sarno Theater. Saratoga Arts’ faculty know and understand how children learn about and create art and work with our students to ensure they are reaching their full artistic potential. Winter Break Programs
December Diversions - Ages 5-7
New for Saratoga Arts this year is our December Diversions school break camp for the little ones. This half-day camp will introduce a variety of fine art media to children. Campers will draw, sculpt and paint their own masterpieces. Camp size is limited to 10 students. Children will need to bring a morning snack, a water bottle and an art smock or old t-shirt.

December Diversions - Ages 8-14
December Diversions is a great school break camp opportunity for any child who loves art. Children will learn about the lives and work of famous artists and styles and create their own paintings, drawings and sculpture based on them. Camp size is limited to 14 students. Children will need to bring a lunch, afternoon snack, water bottle, and an art smock or old t-shirt.

FEBRUARY BREAK PROGRAMS - for children who love theater and the visual arts
Imagine That! - Ages 5-7
In this 1/2 day visual arts camp students will be encouraged to use their imaginations - Campers will be see work by famous artists, hear stories and listen to music to inspire their own fine art masterpieces. Campers will be painting on canvas, sculpting with paper mache and much more! Camp size is limited to 10 students. Children will need to bring a morning snack, a water bottle & an art smock/old t-shirt.

Imagine That! - Ages 8-14
In this full day visual arts camp students will be encouraged to use their imaginations - Campers will be see work by famous artists (including Dali and Magritte), hear short stories and listen to music to inspire their own fine art masterpieces. Campers will be painting on canvas, sculpting with paper mache and much more! Camp size is limited to 14 students. Children will need to bring a lunch, afternoon snack, water bottle, and an art smock or old t-shirt.

$205 for members / $220 for non-members
Get into the Act! - Ages 5-12
This hand on camp offers young actors an opportunity to immerse themselves in a theatrical production. Every camper will be cast in play to be performed at week’s end for family and friends. Our thespians will also help formulate and implement ideas for set, sound and costume design. Theatre and acting games will help “characters” get into “focus” and rehearsals will bring them into life! Get in to the act! Parents and friends are invited to attend the performance in our Dee Sarno Theater at 3pm on that Friday. Camp size is limited to 15 students. Children will need to bring a lunch, afternoon snack, water bottle.
