Classes & Workshops- SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN Grab your passports and get ready to take off with The Saratoga County Arts Council’s Around the World Summer Camp! Each week of camp will explore the art, dance and theater of some of the world’s greatest cultures. There will be a 4:15pm performance and art show scheduled each Friday for campers to show off their workA week for campers includes a wide range of visual arts, performance and movement activities designed to teach the basics while at the same time be fun and engaging. Teachers hired by The Arts Council are highly qualified with decades of combined experience working with children at all learning levels. AROUND THE WORLD! Week 1: July 7 - July 11: China Week 2: July 14 - July 18: Egypt Week 3: July 21 - July 25: Italy Week 4: July 28 - Aug 1: France Week 5: Aug 4 - Aug 8: Mexico Week 6: Aug 11 - Aug 15: South Africa CAMP CREATIVITY Camp Creativity is our summer camp for older children, ages 8-14 and runs Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm. $185 for members / $195 for non-members (per week), please include a $10 materials fee A typical day for campers participating in Camp Creativity includes 4 art sessions with a break at noon for a bag lunch from home and a break at 2:30 for a snack provided by The Arts Council. This summer The Saratoga County Arts Council will be offering an Early Drop-Off session for campers participating in Camp Creativity! Campers can be dropped off anytime Monday through Friday, between 8:30am - 10:00am Per Day: $10 for members / $12 for non-members Week: $45 for members / $55 for non-members IMAGINATION RULES Imagination Rules is our summer camp for the little ones, ages 5-7, that runs Monday through Friday, 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Imagination Rules campers can choose to participate 2, 3, or all five days! 2 Days (Tues-Thurs): $55 members / $65 for non-members, please include a $3 materials fee 3 Days (Mon-Wed-Fri): $70 members / $80 for non-members, please include a $5 materials fee 5 Days (Mon-Fri): $120 members / $130 for non-members, please include an $8 materials fee A typical day for campers participating in our Imagination Rules camp sessions will include a session dedicated to exploring aspects of the visual arts and another that will explore movement and/or theater.
