Denis Chounard:
Building a Memorable Character from Script to Screen

Award winning Canadian Director, Denis Chounaird has been giving conferences and workshops for close to ten years. he has taught acting technique and script-writing in Canada, given workshops in Prague, Paris, Mexico City and Cameroon. His directorial credits include two fiction features, several documentary features and about ten shorts.
Whether you're a student, professional or just an interested film buff, this informative and entertaining workshop is a one-of-a-kind event you wont want to miss. Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Open Studio: Independent Life Drawing
Mondays, 7-9:00 PM Except Holidays and Summer
Second Monday each month is now expanded to a longer session from 6:30pm-9:30pm to allow for longer poses. Here’s a great opportunity for experienced artists to work from a model without the formality of a class. Local Artist, Valerie McCarney, will facilitate, directing the model to work from a starting point of short poses for quick gesture drawings to longer poses for in depth finished drawings. Bring your own supplies.
Cost per class: $12/Members; $14/Non-Members

Artists Studio Time
Mondays from 10 AM- 12:00 PM Except Holidays and Summer
The Arts Center invites you to attend Artist’s Studio Time with a live model.There will be no formal instruction but Trudi Smith will facilitate. Please bring your own supplies in whatever medium you like.
