Winter 2018 - Capturing Water in Watercolor with Tom Ryan

Watercolor is a wonderful medium to capture water-perhaps the most varied of landscape elements. Expand your skills in painting water in various forms including calm water, running water, and waterfalls. A special focus will be placed on reflections and their importance to the painting, along with an emphasis composition, color, values, edges, mood, and variety. Participants will work on their own painting by using their own photos for reference with one-on-one advice from artist and instructor Tom Ryan. See website for suggested supply list. Intermediate level and up.
