Creating a successful portrait does not mean simply portraying a likeness of
your subject, but creating depth and capturing the personality and emotion
of the human face. Working with a model, this workshop begins with an oil painting demonstration by artist and instructor Corey Pitkin (winner of the
Hyde Collection’s 2016 “Master of Portraits” Contest) in the morning and allows participants to work with one-on-one guidance in the afternoon. All skill levels are welcome. Registration includes model fee. See website for full supply list.
