Learn the fine art of using light, composition and background to capture the facial expressions, personality, and mood of your subjects in our Portrait Photography Workshop. The first day will include lessons in natural light, choosing the right equipment and camera setting, choosing the best location, simple posing techniques, and how to modify light to turn ok light into great light. The afternoon will end with students sharing their photographs during an encouraging critique. On the second day, Students will have access to professional studio lighting equipment, learn lighting setups (such as Rembrandt, beauty and dramatic) and discuss software for editing images. The day will end with a portfolio review. This workshop is for all levels. Students should bring a Digital SLR with a telephoto lens or high quality digital camera. Greg has equipment to share if necessary. Registration fee includes model fee.
