Over thirty years ago Saratoga Arts was created with the goal of strengthening the arts community in our region and, in that time, more than 228,000 visitors have seen the work of local and regional artists in our gallery spaces, over 18,000 students of all ages have taken classes, workshops, or attended visual arts, theater, and literary camps, 466,220 people have enjoyed an event funded by our grant program, and we have paid artists over $2,290,000 in grant awards, teaching and performance fees, and in art sales.
Saratoga Arts is built upon the support of those who have helped us become what we are today: our members. Our members are our community, our advocates, and our driving force. Your membership not only supports the work that we do, but also the work that you do. Member artists are entitled to many opportunities to exhibit, sell, and promote their work. Members take part in our Art in Public Places Program, which features monthly or bi-monthly exhibits of work in various locations throughout the county, including the Saratoga Springs Library, Visitor's Center, Train Station, and more. Members receive discounts on classes, camps, and gallery shop purchases, and are subscribed to our bi-monthly newsletter, the ArtsLetter, which is a wonderful way to keep in touch with and celebrate the arts related news and events taking part in our area.
